Editorial Policy & Testing Standards
Daily Home Coffee publishes practical home-brewing guidance. This policy explains what readers can expect from our research, testing language, product coverage, updates, and corrections.
Effective July 25, 2026
How guides are built
We start with a specific reader question, check current primary or authoritative sources where the topic requires them, and turn the answer into repeatable steps, measured ratios, decision tables, or troubleshooting checks.
Hands-on and product claims
We only describe a product or recipe as personally tested when the article identifies a real procedure or documented observation. Manufacturer specifications are labeled as such. Undocumented first-person claims in older archive content are being removed or rewritten.
Sources and commercial links
Sources should sit near the claim they support. Commercial relationships do not change the comparison criteria. Readers should verify current price, availability, safety instructions, and warranty terms with the manufacturer or seller.
Health and safety boundaries
Coffee health content is educational, not medical advice. We use cautious wording and authoritative sources, and we do not replace advice from a qualified clinician. Equipment instructions must defer to the current manufacturer manual.
Updates and corrections
Material reviews show a visible reviewed date. When a factual error changes the recommendation, we correct the page and update its modification signal. Readers can report an error through the contact page.
